Stephen Bloch

Stephen Bloch

Steve is a General Partner at Canaan Partners, focused on healthcare investments. In addition to Truveris, he currently serves on the boards of DICOM Grid, Envisia, Liquidia, LQ3, Marinus Pharmaceuticals, Mitraspan, and Sample6. Prior to Canaan, Steve founded multiple start-ups in the medical technology space. Steve obtained his A.B. from Dartmouth College, M.A. in the History of Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, and M.D. from the University of Rochester.

Leon Greene

Leon Greene

Leon Greene co-founded Truveris in 2008 and served as the company's EVP of Operations until 2016. Leon brings robust knowledge of the pharmacy benefits industry and more than 20 years of multidisciplinary experience as an entrepreneur, innovator and operator. Prior to Truveris, Leon worked in the IaaS and real estate industries in various capacities including: growth stage operations leadership at an internet services company where he scaled a delivery organization from $10M-$120M revenue; executive leadership of a $90M P&L and national programs at a Fortune 500 company; and co-founding and leading product development for SaaS platform AdvisorRE (sold to Realogy). Leon received a BA from Bard College.

Brian Hirsch

Brian Hirsch

Brian is a co-founder of Tribeca Venture Partners. Prior to TVP, Brian founded the venture arm of Greenhill & Co (NYSE: GHL), was a Principal at Sterling Partners and a Vice President at ABN AMRO Private Equity. Brian has invested across a broad number of sectors during his career including fintech, edtech, healthcare IT, marketing and media. Brian has a BA in economics and American studies from Brandeis University.

Vijay Lathi

Vijay Lathi

Vijay Lathi is a Managing Director focused on information convergence and diagnostics investments. Vijay joined Sprout in 1998, was promoted to Partner in 2003, and was one of the founders of New Leaf in 2005.  Prior to focusing on information convergence, Vijay’s investment activity covered a range of healthcare technologies including HCIT, diagnostics and therapeutic platforms, and was the founding investor in both Ilypsa (sold to Amgen) and Relypsa (RLYP).  Prior to joining Sprout, Vijay was an analyst in the Healthcare Venture Capital Group at Robertson Stephens & Co. and analyst at Cornerstone Research, a consulting firm focused on financial and economic analysis for business litigation. Vijay graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Stanford University where he received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering, with an emphasis on the application of engineering to life science technology.

Matt Simas

Matt Simas

Matt has 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry with executive leadership, board and private equity director and advisor roles across the healthcare technology and services continuum including MedInitiatives (founder, chair & CEO), IMS Health, MedImpact Healthcare Systems, SilverStream Capital, HealthyCircles, Aldera, BusinessOne Technologies and TPG. He currently sits on the boards of Alliance Health and Truveris. Matt completed the executive education program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and received a BA in organizational communication from California State University Sacramento.

sally welborn

Sally Welborn

Sally is an advisor at Welborn Advisory Services and was previously the Senior Vice President of Global Benefits for Walmart. She also served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Benefits for Wells Fargo & Company. Her previous endeavors include consulting with large employers in all areas of benefits strategy and healthcare optimization while at HCIA, Inc. and William M. Mercer, Inc. She worked at Aetna as a relationship manager and at Union Bank as the Vice President of Benefits. Sally serves as a Board Advisor for the Penn Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics. She has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the ERISA Industry Committee and on the boards of the National Business Group on Health and the Pacific Business Group on Health as well as the Guiding Committee of the Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network. Sally earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Investors
