Bryan Birch, Chairman    Bryan Birch is currently the Chairman, President, and CEO at Truveris and brings over 20 years of experience in the health services and managed care industry. Prior to Truveris, he served as President & CEO at Touchstone Health HMO, Inc., a Medicare approved HMO. He joined Touchstone after serving 5 years as an Executive Committee Member and President of Employer Accounts at Medco Health Solutions where he was responsible for all activities related to Medco's employer account clients including finance, sales, account management, marketing, clinical and underwriting. Before Medco, Bryan served as Executive Officer of WellChoice, Inc. (formerly Empire BlueCross BlueShield) and as Executive Vice President and co-founder of iHealth Technologies, a claims editing company. Philippe Chambon, Director    Philippe Chambon is a Managing Director and founder of New Leaf Venture Partners, a spin-off from The Sprout Group. He joined Sprout in May 1995 and became a General Partner in January 1997. He invests broadly in healthcare technology companies. He currently is the Chairman of The Board of NxStage Medical (NXTM) and is on the board of ePocrates (EPOC) as well as several private companies. Besides ePocrates, Dr. Chambon was an early investor in a series of HCIT companies such as PhaseForward (acquired by Oracle); Pharsight (acquired by Tripos); Sapient Health Network (acquired by WebMD); and Spotfire (acquired by TIBCO). Previously, Philippe served as Manager in the Healthcare Practice of The Boston Consulting Group from May 1993 to April 1995. From September 1987 to April 1993, he was an executive with Sandoz Pharmaceutical, where he led strategic product development, portfolio management and pre-marketing activities in his capacity as Executive Director of New Product Management. Philippe did graduate research in molecular immunology at The Pasteur Institute and earned a MD, Ph.D. from the University of Paris. Philippe also has an MBA from Columbia University in New York.



Somak Chattopadhyay, Director    Somak Chattopadhyay is a Partner at Tribeca Venture Partners, an early stage venture fund in NYC. He has been operating or investing in technology startups since 1999. Somak leads investments in a variety of sectors including digital media, information services, and the Software-as-a-Service sectors. He is currently a member of the board of directors at Altruik, Ignighter, Mobile Commons, ReachForce, and Truveris. Previously, he was at Edison Venture Fund, where he sourced and evaluated investments in the tech-enabled services sector and launched the firm’s New York office. Somak serves on the board of numerous nonprofit organizations including the MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City, NYCVC, and the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival. He also serves as a VC Mentor for the ER Accelerator and the Startup Leadership Program (NYC Chapter). Mr. Chattopadhyay is a CharterMember of TiE. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from Columbia Business School.



Leon Greene, Director    Leon Greene is responsible for product management, business operations, and service delivery at Truveris. Prior to Truveris, Greene served as VP Administration at Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a global franchisor of Real Estate Brokerages. At Century 21, Greene controlled a $90M P&L and led teams supporting finance, project office, learning and development, and recruiting. Prior to CENTURY 21, Leon led customer care for international ISP Globix Corporation including all support operations, administration, and IT program management. Greene joined Globix in 1993 and for over 10 years was part of the team that drove the company's growth from startup to $1.5B publicly traded company. Scott Johnson, Director    Scott Johnson is a co-founder and managing partner at New Atlantic Ventures, focusing on advertising technology and online commerce. He currently serves on the board of directors at Pontiflex, Image Space Media, Solve Media, Fashion Playtes, and Truveris. Scott was an early investor in EnerNOC (Nasdaq ENOC) and Massive (acquired by Microsoft). Prior to co-founding NAV and its predecessor, DFJ New England, Scott was the East Coast partner of the Cambridge Technology Capital Fund, cited by Venture Economics as one of the top performing post-IPO funds of 1999, where he oversaw investments in E.piphany, Silknet, Digital Think, and WebLogic. Before that, he co-founded InterSense, Inc., a 3D visualization technology company. Scott began his career as a software engineer and early employee of Cambridge Technology Partners, a global systems integration and consulting company. He received his BS in operations research from Cornell University and his MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.



A.J. Loiacono, Director    A.J. Loiacono serves as the VP of Sales and Marketing at Truveris. Prior to Truveris, Loiacono was a SVP and Partner with SMS, a software development firm specializing in software-as-a-service (SaaS). Loiacono also served as the President of Victrix LLC, an information technology company providing support and implementation services for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Loiacono led Victrix to record growth over five years and successfully negotiated the sale of the firm. In addition to his involvement with Victrix, Loiacono has a decade of financial industry experience having served as the Managing Director of Artemis Venture Capital and as a Senior Account Executive with Fidelity Investments. Howard Morgan, Observer    Dr. Howard Morgan is co-founder and partner in First Round Capital, a seed stage venture capital investment firm specializing in information technologies. He began working with Idealab in 1996 and serves on their board. He has more than 30 years of experience with more than two hundred high-tech entrepreneurial ventures. He serves on the boards of Fab.com, Single Platform, GumGum, Energy Innovations and other private companies. Howard was Professor of Decision Sciences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Professor of Computer Science at the Moore School for almost 15 years. He a Trustee of Cold Spring Harbor Labs and Math For America and is a respected author. He received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997. Howard received his Ph.D. in operations research from Cornell University in 1968 and his B.S. from the City University of New York in 1965.
